My 2017 Word for the Year

My word for the year of 2017 is "Intentional."

1.  done on purpose, deliberate.
2. done by intention or design: intended.

Calculated, conscious, intended, planned, meant, studied, knowing, willful, purposeful, purposive, done on purpose, premeditated, preplanned, preconceived.

My vision board for 2017:

"One of the most tragic things we could do with our lives would be to coast through it without intentionally living for God."

"Live less out of habit and more of Intent."

"For me, Intentional thinking has become a way of being, a way of life hat is superior to the life on autopilot that I use to live."

"Godly relationship don't just happen. They take two people who are committed to putting God first and the willingness to face anything together."

"We never grow closer to God when we just live life. It takes deliberate pursuit and attentiveness." -Francis Chan

"I will love, speak, live with intention." -Emily Ley

"Change is inevitable. Growth is Intentional."-Glenda Cloud

"If you want to reach your goals and fulfill your goals and fulfill your potential about your personal growth. It will change your life." -John Maxwell

"Living with intention means saying no to things that aren't important so we can say yes to what matters most." -Crystal Paine

I desire to be intentional in life. Intentional with how I spend my time. Intentional in enjoying life. Intentional in enjoying the season. Intentional in making healthy food choices. Intentional in making it a priority in getting walks in. Intentional in doing my strength training program. Intentional about spending time reading God's Word. Intentional in my relationships. My relationship with God. My relationship with my Husband. My relationship with my Family and Friends. Intentional in spending time with family. Intentional in spending time with friends. Intentional on going on adventures with my Husband.

Let Go:
We have to let go of just letting life happen to us. We have to be intentional in how we use our time and energy. We have to be intentional in how we react to the things that are out of our control.

Reason why:
I don't wake up feeling good every day. I never know how I am going to feel when I wake up in the morning. When I do feel good and having a better day I've learned how to take advantage of the time. I have developed a mindset of being Intentional. Intentional in goal setting and planning.

Bible Verses:

"Be careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise." Ephesians 5:15

"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." Deuteronomy 6:5 ESV

"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35 ESV

"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12 ESV

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were brought with a price. So glorify God in your body
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV

"So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Psalm 90:12

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12

Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
